US pint can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of champagne bubbles. The aroma is lager yeast, cardboard. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, somewhat light, yeasty, light sweet malt, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. I’m really not sure why the smaller craft brewers bother to brew a basic lager which puts them in direct competition with the much larger macro brewers. There’s only going to be one winner!

473ml can. Pours a clear blonde with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Clean, refreshing and crushable.

16 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a slightly hazy light gold color with a white head and great retention. Good lacing too. Pilsner malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: A mixture of pilsner malt and pale malt flavors, with light lemon notes and a light bitter finish. Definitely more pilsner characteristics overall. Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Light bitterness.

Sigh. It just not there. Malt forward as you'd expect. But dry hay malt, mildly bitter, somewhat sweet. Just kinda bland.

Aus dem PopUp-Store Ottawa. helles Gold im Glas, sehr schöne Feinperlung. In der Nase Getreide, im Trunk setzt sich das fort, hauptsächlich bitter, unspektakulär.
