Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, some sweet toffee, chocolate and mild whisky and vanilla to it. Flavour is caramel, some chocolate, roast and mild alcohol with a wee bit of vanilla and wood.

Bottle 384 of 540, online from the brewery. Pours black with a dark brown hue, only a smidge of a beige head. Aroma: burnt roasted malts, dark chocolate, whisky barrel, light smoke. Taste: moderate sweet, dry, light acidic, vinous, chocolate, light peat, whisky wood, hint of dark berries. Surprisingly thin bodied for a 7.8% stout, virtually no carb, light dry sweet & smoky finish. Holding up well for it's age. Interesting for sure.

330ml bottle at home, from the brewery’s online shop, 304 of 540. Jet black with a thin brown head. Sour soy and balsamic aromas, little roast. Taste has more sour, light salt, light treacle. Ok.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by madmitch76 ]. [ Bottle # 138/540 ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, wood, alcohol - whisky, tart malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, tart fruit - berry, peat - whisky, dark malt, dry, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130430]

Pretty dark color, with brownish compact head. Mild aroma, some roasted malt, and some sourness; bit of alcohol. Slim body, with moderate roasted malt flavor and some sourness; very light smoke; no evidence of whiskey flavors; the roasted malt contributes to the bitterness, which is not strong. Maybe a trace of whiskey in the end.

Rund malzig-säuerlicher Antrunk. Etwas laff, die Malznoten rücken in den Hintergrund. Sehr trocken, kaum Noten der Whiskeylagerung. Nicht alkoholisch, zum Ende milder säuerlich. Nett aber definitiv nicht mehr. 11/9/11/9//11

Opaque black beer, good tan head. Crispy semi dry palate. Lots of minerals. Tangy dark malt. Sourish mild whisky. Trace of candy fruits. Very similar to Lambda but the whisky is more sour.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty aroma with weak hints of soy sauce. Sweetish roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor. Has a sweetish roasted malty caramel finish.
