Cock Tavern. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth softish palate with light fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with an oat tone. Mellow coffee and mild mild roast. Nice mild tangy fruits, very well integrated. Touch of milk chocolate then a smooth finish with a little hop bitterness coming in. Tasty number.

Cock Tavern. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer. Residual tan head. Palate is light and a little dry. Mild licorice, traces of coffee, decent tangy fruits - both candy and dark. Finishes semi dry with mild roast malt bitterness. Interesting and very quaffable.

Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige foam head. Lactic chocolate nose, some roasted coffee, too. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate roast, light char, ash, mellow dirt and earth bitterness, light baking cocoa, some raisins. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild dry finish with good roasted malts, ash, burnt sugars, faint alcohol. So so, but I think you could easily do more at this ABV.
