330ml bottle bought at Cock Tavern in July 2014. A tan-coloured head to a deep dark ruby coloured body. Nicely roasted malts on the nose, bread and chocolate. Flavoured with cocoa, dark fruits, dark bread and earth. Malty bitterness towards the ending. Fine bodied. Quite pleased with it (shared with Finn 05.11.2015).

Flaske 330ml. Spandert av Rune og delt under en sesjon hos ham 5 Nov 15. Ekstremt dyp amber. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum. Sjokoladearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken sjokolade. Etterhvert litt tørr & søt.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 10 Apr 2014) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dried fruit, raisins, prunes, dark rye bread, hints of chocolate and a generous roasted bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and well made stout with a slightly fruity touch. Very nice.
