(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 24 Apr 2015) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of peaches, biscuits and grass. Fruity, malty taste with peaches, grass, biscuity malt and leafy hops in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty, but fairly thin. Quite nice.

Cask at the Fisherman’s Cottage, Reading. Gold with a thin white head. Light lemon with a little caramel. Good balance of bitter and sweet with a nice crisp finish. Would be a great refresher on a hot day, but even in January was still enjoyable. Just a nice, simple, well balanced beer. Liked it.
