30cl from tap in Trakai. Clear ruby with an off-white head. Malty and caramely aroma with notes of dried dark fruits and hints of spices. Fairly sweet with medium malty flavours and light bitterness in the finish. Quite okay, but a bit too much on the sweet side for me.

Clear dark red - amber beer. Big pale tan head. Pale malt nose, papery. Palate is light and crisp. Papery caramel malt, trace of smoke. Minerally freshness. Whisper of bubblegum ester. Dry finish. Hop free! Not terrible but too much paper.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to Leighton. It pours deep red-brown with a medium off-white head. The nose is wood, leather, caramel, toast and spice. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, toast, caramel and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fairly one-dimensional, but drinkable nonetheless.
