This "Belgian Flanders Style Red Ale" is refermented with a blend of fresh whole Northwest cherries and then hand bottled. Cascade Kriek Ale is bottle fermented and should be refrigerated or stored at cellar temp and served at 45 to 50 degrees.

@ZZT V. Ruby red colour with no head. Smells like real and fresh cherries, fruity, green twigs. Tastes sour, red fruits, cherries, fresh. Lots of taste. Fizzy, decent carbo, medium body.

Shared 750ml bottle. Poured a cloudy ruby color with a light pink color. Aroma is a tart funk with notes of cherries. Flavor was a relatively pleasant fruit tart funk. Pretty drinkable.

Nice oaky sour cherry aroma with musty woody accents. Hazy rust, thin yellow head. Powerfully tart, less woody, with a near exclusive sour cherry flavor. A brief lactic appearance in the finish. Very well crafted and executed, if not a bit overboard with the sourness.
