Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Spring Festival at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Pale straw with a ring of white head; dusty citrus aroma; sweet grapefruit taste; and a crisp finish. A straightforward golden ale.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold, merest white head. Aromas of grains and diacetyl, light fruit. Taste is more of the butterscotch diacetyl I’m afraid. Pretty grim.

330ml bottle from The Cloud Bar Lincoln. Light straw colour with white head. The aroma and taste were dampened as it was served very cold, but it had malt and hops.

Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp. Minerals. Light malt base. Decent citric peel hops - turning from medium to strong bitterness. Crisp finish. Pretty drinkable.

Golden with a bubbly head. Juicy, fruity bitter with a curranty hop character and mostly pale malts with a hint of biscuit. Really nice bitter.
