This little Charmer definitely likes to keep things interesting. There’s an initial burst of pine freshness on the nose that gradually gives way to the scent of rich orchard apples. Pour Charmer into a glass and the rich aroma of deep apple tannins is released. The gentle sparkle of the first sip gives way to a floral, summery flavour with a citrus tang - but once again Charmer changes its character, moving on to a mellow apple sweetness that lingers on the tongue, ending with a crisp, refreshing finish.

A gently sparkling premium cider to match with fish & chips, and with its low carbonation, goes superbly with Asian food

Bottle from Quality Save, Manchester. Golden coloured cider. Its strength is noticeable, but not too overbearing, with a mild apple flavour and aroma with some sweetness.

Bottle from Waitrose and drunk at home in front of the football. Clear gold no real head. Apple juice aroma and flavour. Medium sweet I’’d say. No great dryness or tannin or other interest, but perfectly drinkable and pleasant. Yes drinkable enough if fairly forgettable

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a light, bubbly film head. Funky manure and apple in the aroma. Big sweet flavor, lightly medicinal, some faint rubber, sugary apples. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, lightly sticky, somewhat pukey. Not excellent.

Pale gold with moderate carbonation. Aroma of flinty minerals, crisp apples and a touch of sweetness. Easy drinking, with plenty more fruit, artificial sweetener and a medium finish. Ok.
