Bottle at Craig's. Many thanks to the host for this vintage treat. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, spiced, umami, herbal vibes, bready, brioche and toffee. The taste is dry, slick, oily, sticky, umami, earthy, orange peel, peachy, orange peel, spice, herbs, oak and booze with a dry finish. Medium body and fine. Not bad at all.

Bottle at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting - London. Thanks to Craig for the Elixir fix. Pours clearish gold with a fine, white froth head. Nose has lots of herbs and spices, sure. Medium sweet flavor with moderate pale malts, white sugar, herbs, orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sweet on the finish with white bread and balanced herbal kick. Good balance overall, not overdone.

31st March 2013
Tasting at ChrisOs. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Light softish palate, semi dry. Light creamy malt - dry and sweetish. Orange citrus, mild black pepper. A perfumed floral flavour follows. Light dry finish where the beer comes together well. Unusual and tasty.
