This NW style sour blends soured tripel, blonde and golden ales that were then fermented with the juice of white wine grapes. It's a delicious offering that appeals to both beer and wine drinkers.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours hazy woody amber with 3-fingers of fluffy off-white head. Strong vinous aroma. Aspects of sour. Medium body and frothy carbonation. Flavor is grapey, whiteish grapey, sour. Very nice, subtle sour. Goes very well with Mt Tam cheese. Finishes deliciously and smoothly sour. It’s very nice stuff.

Bottle at Phil Lowry’s house. Cheers Phil. It definitely had some white wine grape character. It had decent sourness as well. Maybe a bit boozy, but the white wine grape character was very good and it did have some decent sourness to it as well. A beer that definitely stood out during a beer drinking day.

Shared by Tim, thanks a lot. The appearance is all murky, like amber colored jello with bits and pieces visible and static in the beer. Cannot see through it but light radiates out. Head is medium at first, then fades but comes back easily with some agitation. Aroma is strong, tingles the nose with some alcohol and white grape. It is a cool combination, never had so much grape actually come out of a beer. As Tom mentioned the grape also comes off a bit mint-like. Some aceto and acetic qualities that work great in the structure of the beer. Flavor is spiky, acetic, white grape. Really a strong New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc aspect. Some white dry wood comes through with a thick tart aftertaste. The fizzy mouthfeel also works beautifully with the beers structure. Cascade is really stepping up their game with the new sours, much better than the original fruit ones.
750ml cork and wire, Duvel tasting glass.

750 ml corked and caged bottle purchased at Uber Tavern in Seattle, Washington. Pour is hazed orange golden with a smallish white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of sweet muscat white grapes, honey, decent blast of sourness to the end. Taste is the white grape (big) initially, then a nice sour acetic followed by the floral honey with very soft and mild sweetness. Palate is medium to full, decently active carbonation, clean finish. Not much alcohol present. Really nice one.

Bottle 75cl. @ WSF.[ Courtesy of Dedollewaitor ]. Unclear medium grey amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy grape - berry, light to moderate hoppy, perfume, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate tart bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Both aroma and flavor is a bit artificial IMO, but maybe it had a hard job, we got it together with HORAL, Cantillon Zwanze and other outstanding beers @ WSF. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
