Cask at William IV during Brodies Birthday Bash 2011. Pours a clear, dark gold with a light head. Toasty malt aroma, some ripe citrus. Light sweet flavor, some wood, bread and dough, good bitterness, some dry dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry bitter finish, woody, light dry grass, mild sweetness. Very decent.

Brodies Birthday Fest at the King William. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light semi dry palate. Low carbonation. Pretty robust hops here! Bitter orange and grapefruit and bitter pine. Under all the bitter attack is a trace of fresh fruit but it’s hard to tell what exactly. Finishes semi dry. Alright but just a bit much with the bitterness!
