500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection, drank in Laguna Hills on 6th April 2025. Beige topping on the dark amber body, it looked good (and it was). Smooth malty brew with very little hop action, slips down fair to easily, I really enjoyed it.

500 ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Pours a super dark brown/ black color with dark ruby highlights and a tight, thick tan head and excellent retention. Great lacing too. Very faint dark malt aroma. Soft dark malt flavor throughout with some dark bread notes. Not as sweet as I expected. Fairly one dimensional, but good. Super smooth and clean. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. No bitterness.

Deep amber in color with a three-finger, light tan head. Aroma is sweet malts and grains with a very slight fruit. Taste is dark bread with hints of dark roasted grains and a light sweet finish. I have to say Klosterbrauerei Neuzelle may be my favorite brewery. I wish we could get more of there beer in this country.
