Cask @ The Grapes, Liverpool. Golden with a thin frothy head. There’s some very small toffee notes in this crisp for its strength ale, whilst remaining fuller bodied.

Cask, Kazimier, Garden, Liverpool. Slightly hazy amber looks with a thin white head. Some sweet malt, honey and orange notes in the nose. Sweetish flavour with malts, fruits and some grassy hop bitterness. Dried out towards the finish. Drinkable but pretty unspectacular.

Cask at Clapton Hart. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is orange, tangy tangerine, Irn bru and wood. The taste is crisp, orangey, tangerine, marmalade, grainy, honey, jam and good deal of bitterness with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather tasty stuff.
