At 3.6% abv, this session bitter is a dark copper coloured beer.

Plenty of malt in the mouth and a good whack of bitterness from traditionally English hops.

Thirst quenchingly bitter but light in alcohol, Bunny Chaser makes the perfect quaffing beer.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Amber with a white head and middling fizz. Summer fruits and orange juice up front, woodland mulch and toffee in the middle and a touch of marmalade in the mildly bitter finish. A decent session bitter - nothing fancy, nothing wow, but tasty, well-balanced and easy to knock back. I could have sunk a few of these in an evening back in the days before Ratebeer made me work my way through the taps instead!

Cask-conditioned at the Junction, Southampton 2/7/2017. Amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. An easy drinking bitter, with a touch of hedgerow, sweetish digestive malts, leafy hops and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Smooth malty aroma. Hint of hops. Dark amber. Frothy white head. Medium bitter. Biscuity. Herby. Sweet caramel in the finish. A slightly off sourness hovers about. Light but also has a kinda dense mouthfeel. Carbonation more evident into the long dry finish. Alright, but not exactly fresh tasting. Could have been the cask?
