A golden colour, refreshing beer brewed with lager malt and Chinook and Cascade hops, giving a lovely citrus flavour and aroma, which is quite dry and very moreish.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Pale gold with a thick off-white head and a light sparkle. Very smooth and rich mouthfeel. Tastes of lemon, grapefruit, cut grass, leafy hops and a little vanilla. Mild bitterness. Goes down very well, refreshing yet very satisfying. Not normally a fan of Bateman's, but this is actually decent for a gold.
