500ml bottle courtesy of Fin. Thanks my friend. Copper amber colour with slight haze. lasting near white head. Malty aroma. Bit of a beast of a beer from the cereally malty strong mid brown malty aroma. I mean it is a really is a very cereally beer. a bit like eating pure munich pale malt. Decent alcohol is well hidden. Drunk whilst watching Eng vs Ire 6 Nations on St Patricks Day. yes decent yes well put together lacks a bit of personality and the malt is really dusty and almost not fully attenuated. Hops are minimal

Bottle from the Brewery shop picked this up early December 2011 and consumed 27.12.11 in Frank (camper) at the Baltic Wharf campsite, Bristol Bronze in colour with a white filmy head, nose is a little sweetish which follows through into the mouth. After a while this is a little too sweet, some might even suggest cloyingly so. Good clarity in the glass, quite thick in the mouth, easy drinking for the strength though a touch simplistic. As usual another decent beer from Chiltern who fail to make anything but, but not as good as the £8.99p price tag would have suggested. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov12 3.4
