Cask at William IV. Very clear light golden blond colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma is stinky, b.o., really smells sweaty not so nice. Taste is bitter, some sweetness, bit unspecific citrus, bit twiggy. Maybe I don't like citra. Taste is ok though i suppose.

Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton on 2nd February 2013. Clear gold with whitish foam. Rich and intense hoppiness in aroma, with fruity peach notes and a smoky tinge. Rich and intense hoppiness in-mouth. Long lasting bitter finish with leafy grassy notes. Mouthfeel is smooth and fine-textured, easy to drink. Exquisite.

Cask at the Old Coffee House, split with Chris, Jan and Charlotte, 18/01/13. Almost clear pale golden with a thin off white head that clears to the edge and forms a small pond. Nose carries hops, pine, citrus, grass, caramel, touch of soap. Taste follows, good hop presence, pine, orange, citrus fruits, light soap. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Decent.

On tap. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Fresh Citra aroma but subtle and downplayed. Medium body, lightly sweet fruit and then a distinct bitterness from the Citra. Fresh indeed. 111112

Keg at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours lightly hazy gold with a strong, white foam head. Rich citrus aroma, some hefty orange and grapefruit, some other tropical fruits. Medium sweet flavour with lots more citrus fruits, some grass and straw, staunch pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty sticky and resinous to finish with lots of ripe orange, pine, grass and grapefruit, along with fairly sweet pale malts. Quite rich for 5%, but that isn’t to say it isn’t well balanced and delicious - it is both. This is definitely one of the more well rounded, mature beers I have had from Brodies. Great stuff.

Tap take-over at Mikkeller Bar. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Beautiful fruity and floral aroma with plenty of lime and lemon peel. Sweetish fruity flavour, also with a touch of strawberry. A highly drinkable quencher
