Strong, pale and bitter with pine and citrus aromas. A typical American style pale ale. Slight spice to the pallet with an underlying sweetness.

Cask at Chapel Beer Festival. Clear pale gold beer. Light fresh hop nose. Light crisp dry palate. Sweet pineapple and bitter grapefruit. Quite a dry finish. Nontheless a lively palate cleanser!

Cask cellar run at Ship & Mitre BF, Liverpool. Pale gold with no head. Rose petal hop aroma. OK in mouth, decent grapefruit, rose petal hop finish. Some sherbert. Hmm. That’s nice and could get better. Hop is promising.

Cask at The Hop Pole pubs Easter Beer Festival, Aylesbury in the company of Loz, Chris O, Ruth, Barry, Lynn 21-03-08 Light golden in colour, sweet and fruity in taste but there is quite a striking bitterness there. The bitterness lingers for quite some time and the nose is also quite aromatic though not sure that I got the pine, but citrus was definately there, quite tasty and whilst at first I wasn’t totally convinced of it’s APA credentials I suppose that it does just about tick enough boxes to move it away from the more normal golden territory that Osset beers are most probably lumped into.
