Cask at The Old Oak Inn, Horsley Woodhouse, Derbyshire 14-07-09 Pours dark brown with an off white head. There is a touch of smoke on the nose and some woodland aroma’s. The taste show’s some burnt woody touch’s, is really quite fruity and tasty. Nice stuff. A7 A3 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 27/11/07. Near black with a slight tan head. Aroma of roasted malt with some toffee. Flavour of caramel, red fruit and a slightly roasted finish. Good.

Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Very dark brown. Decent mild. Very mild in fact. Nice malts, a little thin as you would expect. Good condition. Pretty good for the style. Bit of stilton cheese flavour.
