Clear copper colour, small off-white head, stays a while, some lacing. Sweet roasted malts nose, light floral hops. Light body, creamy to watery texture, soft carbonation. Light bittersweet, hint of fruit; smooth light bitter finish.

440ml can from Sainsbury’s because they were selling off single cans for 58 pence each. Clear copper colour, lasting beige head. This was one of the first bitters I drank all those years ago. Not to many high hopes on opening this. Bit of creaminess on aroma. Faint hop, but not much else. Fine, but thin in the mouth. Some bitterness on the end, but no real character. Dull.
