On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Dark ruby body, thin white head. Light toasted nose, bit of fruity malts and berries. Taste is a bit thin, like the mouthfeel, but not too bad nonetheless.

Halifax Beer Festival. Very dark red, not much head. Has a light sweet character and quite sugary in its nose.

GBBF. Hazy dark brown beer, residual tan head. Light dry palate. Tangy dark malts - porter like or oyster stout like. Dry finish. Okay.

Cask at GBBF 2012. It pours deep murky brown, with no head. The nose is roasted malt, filter coffee, wood and a touch of chocolate. The taste is filter coffee, raisin, currant, roasted malt, leather, subtle spice and light sourness, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and no carbonation. Pretty easy drinking stuff.
