Bottle @ 4.5%. Light amber pour, thin white head, some retention. Hoppy aroma of flora, grapefruit, spice, malts. Taste of grapefruit, a little orange, biscuit malts and a lovely gingery like spice. Light to moderate body which is good for a golden ale, with a nice carbonation. A very good beer with the brewery only 25 miles from me. Will be trying more of their brews after this one.

11/8/2019. Bottle from Connollys Livery Street, Birmingham. Pours clear gold with a small bubbly white head leaving good lacing. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus, lime, orange, biscuit and tropical fruits. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Mild sweet ginger develops to finish. Nicely done, good all round, and the best of the 9 beers we've sampled tonight.

500ml bottle (4.5% ABV) at home on 11th June 2017. Misty pour, to the old gold coloured body, off-white crown. Citrus notes to the fore with a tropical spiciness also. Might have chilled it too much, got better as it warmed a little.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. ABV4.4%. Also no mention of ginger. "Smooth golden bitter, Citra and Styrian hops give an intense citrus, tropical fruit experience" apparently. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas are lemon and soap. Taste is herbal lemon, light grapefruit. Thin body, clean finish. OK.

Cask at Hereford Beer & Cider Festival 6.07.13 Hazy gold with bubbly head that soon departs. Decent golden beer with a furryness that coats the roof of the mouth. Fruity bitter, good but not great. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
