A deep amber colored ale with a noticeable hop aroma. All of the flavors and aromas of a highly hopped beer are balanced with a combination of several quality barley malts to prove a surprisingly drinkable 7.47% ABV beer. At BBW we believe that an IPA should have a good malt character to sing along with the abundance of bittering and flavor hops used. This beer is unfiltered and unpasteurized and is partially bottle conditioned therefore it may have a small amount of yeast sediment on the bottom of the bottle. We suggest letting this beer warm up slightly from refrigeration temperature then pour into 2 clean clear pint glasses roughing the beer up a bit (pour aggressively) at the end of each pour to bring up a nice thick head. You may reserve any sediment and dispose or drink it - please don’t be afraid of sediment! It is the result of living yeast and is yummy. We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we do and share it responsibly with friends.

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - big thanks to Jan. Pours clear amber with a fine, bubbly white head. Dusty caramel in the nose. Medium sweet flavor, lightly alcoholic, with some dirt, dry pine, bread and caramel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming and resinous on the finish with toasted bread, dry pine and yet more caramel. Pretty average.

Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, thanks to Jan for a rare WV rate, 20/01/13. Lightly hazed mid amber with a white head that clears to the edge. Nose is carmamel malt, light pine, hops, a little subdued. Taste follows, more depth, light tropical fruit notes, hops, sugars, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Drinkable but forgettable IPA.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours medium brown center (a little darker than most IPAs) with large tea colored highlights and small beige head. Medium small bubble lacing, thick body, well carbonated, and slick texture. Taste is malt, bitterness, and piney finish. Alcohol is well covered and this is really refreshing. This one of my least favorite styles, but this is well above average.
