500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - thanks a lot for another (personally) much sought-after Mild]. Clear, brown-ish, dark ruby colour with minimally late awakening, small to average, creamy, diminishing, moderately lacing, off-white head. Nutty malty, mildly malty-spicy aroma, hints of Brazil nut, a touch of coffee, chocolate and chestnut. Taste is toasty, mildly nutty, dark malty, slightly fruity hoppy, hints of Brazil nut, pecan, slightly diluted hints of coffee and dark chocolate, hints of red berries, a diluted touch of plum. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky palate, fine and soft, creamy carbonation. Excellent mouthfeel, very nice nutty flavours, light fruitiness - wonderful!

GBBF.Clear amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Light dry palate. Palate is a little soft and semi dry. Light toffee lactose malt with a fair serving of coffee! Coffee dominates this beer but it is light and drinkable. Light dry finish.
