This golden beer is truly strong in flavour while low in alcohol. Maris Otter gives its characteristic silky, biscuity maltiness, quickly followed up by the delicate spicy lemon of East Kent and Styrian Goldings. This is underpinned by the subtle orange flavours of coriander and the dry, clean bitterness of Challenger hops.

Cask at the Wyndham Arms, Salisbury. This is the first cask attempt at a 2.8% beer I’ve tred, and I’m impressed - there’s a serious amount of body and bitterness despite the low ABV. It’s bright amber with ring of white head that leaves a pleasant lacing on the glass; the aroma is sweet and biscuity; it’s surprisingly full bodied with a biscuity malt body and a light grassy bitterness; leaving a light and dry finish.
