Cask at the Wyndham Arms, Salisbury. This is the first cask attempt at a 2.8% beer I’ve tred, and I’m impressed - there’s a serious amount of body and bitterness despite the low ABV. It’s bright amber with ring of white head that leaves a pleasant lacing on the glass; the aroma is sweet and biscuity; it’s surprisingly full bodied with a biscuity malt body and a light grassy bitterness; leaving a light and dry finish.

Cask (Wyndham Arms, Salisbury) - Pale golden with a small white head. Elderflower and lemon in the aroma. Refreshing, but fairly thin taste with notes of tea, lime and elderflower.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Light haze on this gold beer, residual white head. Light dry palate, mild fine carbonation. Light lagerish malt underpins typical golden ale hops - citrus orange, mild lemon and grapefruit. Dry finish.
