Draught at the original location, years ago, though I never got around to rating it and it seems to be now retired (as are alot of their originals...which is a shame).
Lightly hazy apricot-golden beer has an off-white head atop that shows moderate retention.
Honey fermentation in the nose produces like waxiness and some perfume, with peppery phenolics and a strong honey blossom-like character. Don’t get the green tea in the nose, nor much Belgian character, though there’s a touch of light bubble gum and a hint of clove.
A bit sweet up front, with caramel and honey flavors being quite prominent. Some acidity from the yeast emerges, with dryness from the wheat and light pepper notes. A bit of vegetal character is the extent of the tea that I get (I always find tea hard to locate in a beer). Sticky, chewy, almost syrupy texture and somewhat alcoholic finish is a little less than ideal.

750 ml bottle purchased at Redstone Liquors in Stoneham, MA. Oh my dear god that is floral! Pretty big tea leaf hints as well.
The flavor has mild Belgain yeast and some traces of fruit but honestly no joke... This is mostly green tea with a strong herbal character that lingers after the sip. Body is medium with some substantial amount of yeast or malt chewy full density. I would like this more if the tea was dial down a bit and the yeast and yeast was able to shine through a tad more then they do. Maybe more astringent then it should be.

Bottle on the RBWG 2014 bus. Pours a hazy amber with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a light citrus and floral tea note with a sweet grain and honey backbone. Flavor has a nice honey and floral note with a bit of sweet citrus and sweet grains backing.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Hazy, golden-amber colour with a small, white head. Sweet aroma with herbal and spicy notes, citrus and apricot. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes bitter and fruity.
