„Švyturio” Gintarinis“ (4,6%) – tai lengvas Pilsner klasės, šviesaus gintaro spalvos alus, gaminamas iš Pilzeno klasės salyklo, karčiųjų apynių, alaus mielių ir gėlo vandens. Lietuvos alaus mėgėjai jį vertina dėl gaivaus, lengvo skonio ir švelnaus apynių aromato.
Švyturys Amber (4.6%), a light Pilsner beer of a light amber colour is made from Pilzen-grade malt, bitter hops, brewer’s yeast and fresh water. Lithuanian beer aficionados appreciate it for its refreshing, light taste and mild hops aroma. Brewed in Klaipėda since 1995, Švyturys Amber is an example of a light summertime beer and the leader in this category. The way of the weak Amber to the hearts of Lithuanians was not easy: it would be continuously lightened and perfected to finally match the expectations of both Švyturys’s technologists and the consumers.

Bottle from Hanlon’s, Longford [241014]
Golden, very light amber, clear, frothy white head
Aroma - Very little on the nose, light sweet pale malt, corn
Taste of sweet light pale caramel, dab of corn, slight bitter hop, bit buttery, dull, taste not that appealing
Palate - Medium carb, medium light body, light sweet. Finish has some slight cereal.
Overall - Ordinary lager, got fed up with it and discarded the last 1/5 of the bottle. Meh.

Canned 500ml. -from Iki supermarket Vilnius. Yellow/pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head that went away fast, herbal nose. Malty, herbal and slight grassy with short bitterish finish. Typical Lithuanian lager.

Ogi’s, from Lithuania, can - thanks! Poured a yellow-golden body with a big, thick white head. Lively carbonation, slightly fizzy. Mild grainy - (quite) herbal nose, soft, light notes reminiscent of pear. Shitty bad herbal taste ending in a strange aftertaste, oily. Man. :/ Yeah, the "fans of dark beers" / "lowlanders" from the commercial description were right.

Served from a 568ml can, 4.6 % abv. Chalk white lager head. Clear straw-gold coloured body. Spotty lacing down the glass. Malted wheat on the nose. Taste of buttery malts and wheat. Mostly sweet endnotes. Soft carbonated. Drinkable, but nothing to get excited about (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 27.02.2014).
