Maybe you’re not in the mood for a raspberry flavored, low carb, ice, dry maltsicle, and you certainly aren’t in the mood for a Rotgutzen. You are, however, always in the mood for a Pinstripe. Brewed with caramel malts and Liberty hops, the Pinstripe has a slight fruity finish and dance.

On tap at petrol station. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is a bit light with fruit, citrus and backing hay and grains. Flavor starts with light fruit and citrus with a bread like finish. Easy drinking.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small white head. Very fruity nose. Medium body, dry and fruity with a slight phenollic touch. A little ashy too. Some bitterness. Not your standard Amber. 270411

12oz bottle. Orange-brown color, quite murky and unfiltered. Medium bodied, lots of spicy amber malt notes, balanced by some soapy hops. A little watery, pretty one-dimensional body. Tastes old and rustic, some mix of the English yeast and the specialty malts. Odd and awkward, not so impressive.

Bottle from Liz. Pours amer with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of fruit over caramel. Med minus body; mild foamy carbonation. Mildly fruity and mildly malty. It does seem to have enough bitter for balance. Maybe even a bit on the bitter side. It’s a good beer, but not exciting.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is a sweet malt with raisin and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a light hop taste with caramel and citrus. A good amber fron Ska.
