Maybe you’re not in the mood for a raspberry flavored, low carb, ice, dry maltsicle, and you certainly aren’t in the mood for a Rotgutzen. You are, however, always in the mood for a Pinstripe. Brewed with caramel malts and Liberty hops, the Pinstripe has a slight fruity finish and dance.

Bottle. Pours with a clear amber body and a small, off-white head. Aroma of wheat fruity tones and esters, and a bit of caramel. Taste is fruity and grainy. Water like mouthfeel with somewhat creamy, light carbonation.

draft - Pours amber with a lingering one finger white head and a caramel malt aroma. It has the expected caramel malt flavor and a mild hops bite. Smooth and very sessionable, this light bodied brew finishes slightly dry.

Bottle from cbkschubert, Thanks Craig! Bottle dated Aug 05, friuty caramel malt nose; amber with a samll beige head; tart caramel flavor with some banana esters in a medium body, along with a tart fruity finish. Unusual tartness for an amber, or was it turning!

Loose bottle from Sam’s Wines, Downers Grove, Bottled Dec. 05. Pours a bi-i-i-t too much head into a narrow glass. Sweet malty smell underneath as it settles. Head does assume interesting patterns as I pour a little more in. Beer itself looks rather pale even as ambers go. Taste, though, comes across a bit thin and watery. Any expectation of malt I had were let down here. Something of grape or apple juice comes out, perhaps it finished a bit dry. Hop bitterness is nondescript.

Pour is a amber red with a nice hazyness. Aroma is very nice. Lots of malts and the hops really stand out. Flavor is slight citrus and some malts used. Overall kinda tasty and prob one of the best from this brewer.
