Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours rich brown with a bubbly, beige head. Smells like s’mores, with dubtle dark fruit notes as well. Medium to big sweet flavor, some poo, grapes, grapefruit and ripe melon, along with roasty malts. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sticky sweet on the finish, somewhat resinous, with burnt pine, dark sugars, marshmallows and tar. Very dynamic stuff.

Autumn Brew Review, 2012. Dark brown with a thick palate. Low carbonation. Full flavored, much more so than modern Guinness. Roasted grain and a very light smoke character. Thick palate, a great stout.
