Third by cask, listed with 3.0 % abv, second day of GBBF Winter 20, Astbury Bar. Shared with Finn. Coal black in the glass, patchy beige head, fair lacing. Moderate malt-driven smell, roasted. Dark malty flavours of chocolate and liquorice. Distant notes of dark fruits to the finish, lightly roasted. Decent mild, well made considering the low abv. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).

Gravity cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a clear dark brown with a round light tan head. The aroma is light roasty malt, light creamy caramel. The flavour is smoky roast, light liqourice with a light watery roast, light coffee palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not the worst mild in the world but far from being the best.
