Bottle. Unclear, dark brown body under a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is rather alcoholic, with dried fruits, caramel and a sourish touch. Some nuttyness and chocolate. It’s sourish on the palate, full-bodied and soft, with some alcohol warmth. Oxidation, sourness, dried fruits and some bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish. Not much interesting this one. And slighlty off- 141011

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits, alcohol and caramel. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, dried fruity, slightly sourish finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

33 cl bottle @ home, another souvenir from our honeymoon in Denmark. Clear dark reddish brown color. Light beige head. Aroma’s: sweet(s), red fruit. Toffee and lots of (red) fruit retronasal. Flavor is rather sweet but also very fruity, sour even. Medium bodied, alcohol feel is rather strong. Finishes somewhat caramellish and with a light bitterness. Not convincing, but the bottle might have been a bit old (BBE Nov. 2017).

Opaque dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Palate is soft and a little airy. Good fine carbonation. Sweet malty caramel in contrast with bitter yeast. Touch of sweet powdery chocolate. Whisper of citrus before the soft dry finish. Ineresting!

Draught@CPHBF2013 - Amber/copper in colour with foamy white head. Nice mix of malty/hoppy notes. Nice sweet to bitter balance here. Nice.

Draught at Ølfestival København 13. A red shade to an unclear, dark brown coloured body. Headless. Dried fruity aroma. Figs, sweet chocolate and bread blended together in a taste profile that works quite well. Smooth bitter sweet finish. Well bodied and well made (Copenhagen, 25.05.2013).

Draught. Mild bready aroma. Muddy red brown colour. Spicy hop flavour, very malty and rather sugary. Syrupy, actually. Not bad, but too sweet.
