A pale brownish ale with a thin big bubbled white head. A light raspberry remains, rather funky, a bit of popcorn. In mouth, a bit oxidized, sweet honey and raspberry with maple final. Strange. Bottle was BB 2004. Old Stock Tasting June 2008.

1998 bottle, thanks to thewolf. Amber beer with a small white head. Fresh raspberry aroma, with a sherry note. Slightly tart and fruity flavour

Vintage bottle 1998 at Thewolf tasting. Pours deep brown with a red hew and nearly no head. Aroma is fruity - rapberries, quite sweet but has a tiny sour edge to it. Good sticky mouthfeel. Overall very nice vintage framboise!

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy pink to purple with a diminished light pink head. Raspberry thick aroma, fruity and sweet. Flavour is sweet and slight acidic with a nice dominant flavour of raspberries. Ends sweet going slight dry. I’m getting a sucker for fruitbeers...

Bottle. Unclear red color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to pink head. Aroma is raspberry, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration. Very nice, refreshing and a good balance. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (020907)

At their tap in Brussels. Distinct raspberry aroma and flavour. Hazy red colour. Stable pink head. The flavour is quite sweet and slightly acidic. OK as a soft drink.

Test vom 9.9.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,8,6,13,7 - 7,60

Bottled. Orange-red colour with foamy white head, lacing. Sweet raspberries in aroma. Sweet and a bit dryish raspberryish flavour along with some hoppy bitterness. Long sweet raspberryish aftertaste.

(Bottle 25 cl) 5% ABV. As always I have these rather contradictory sentiments while drinking a Framboise: both fresh and cloying - and this is exactly what I feel about this. Cloyingly sweet with an underlying tartness. No worse than others of the same type, but rather perfumy. 030694
