Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of melon, grassy hop, yeast and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity yeast and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can, Legacy. Light amber with just the slightest haze. Thin head. This has a nice gooseberry, mandarin and calmansi aroma that seems to combine hop and esters nicely. On the palate, it certainly does not have the same bright hop; it's got a big malt presence. The esters are quite floral, like tiare It still veers towards sticky, but has enough bitterness and character to make it interesting, and as a result it's fairly functional, for a Belgian IPA.

Relatively pale golden coloured body with a thinnish, white head, about a single centimetre tall on top with some bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of pale candy sugar, a dose of grass and pure hay and a large amount of belgian yeast and some barnyardie scents - fairly nice throughout. Medium-bodied; Sharp and dry flavours at first with a strong, pungent herbal and grassy finish showing the yeast front and centre with a lot of light sweetness that stems from the candy sugar, but also shows some fruits, such as curacao and a touch of grapefruit near the end. Aftertaste is very dry and incredibly floral with a lot of dry and pungent notes like grains of paradise and some lavender as well. Overall, a pretty nice beer that shows the style well, but leaves a nice profile towards the end with the dry characteristics, but some bitterness from the hops and a smooth balance towards the end. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from The Kona Market in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii on 28-December-2018 for US$9,99/four pack, sampled in my hotel room here in Kona, Hawai'i [island] on 01-January-2018.
