Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is weak, some caramel and a faint touch of fruits. Slightly more interesting flavor, malts, caramel and a weak fruityness, a faint bitterness chiming in towards the end. Medium body, quite dry on the palate. A decent beer, at least not off in any way, but it’s superbly boring in any aspect. 130208

Gusher. Medium offwhite head. Hazy brown body with carbonation. Earthy funky wooden aroma with spicy herbal notes. Dry-sweet earthy perfumy caramelly taste with wooden spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish funky sugary rye crisp bread aftertaste with herbal fruity spicy notes. Interesting. It’s actually pretty good. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Vika, Oslo.)

Shared bottle at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice malty aroma and flavour with some caramel and mild spicy hints, not too sweet. Easy and pleasant to drink.

0.33l bottle shared with the Tasting Crew. This is a light blurry deep dark golden almost bronze colored thing with a really small quickly fading off-white top. It has a really caramel sweet and sticky glazed aroma. Sweet dates and dark fruits. Perhaps a bit unbalanced, but surprisingly present for a Norwegian grocery classified beer, and that I like. Not as sweet as I had expected, but is it has a nutty earthy dryness, some sweet red apples, a little bit of citrus and not much more. Not a favorite to be honest, but I finished the whole glass like a true champ. 04.03.2013

En fusion-øltype. Usikker på hvor godt dette fungerer. Tanken bak var sikkert spennende.
