Bottle from Oddbins, Pimlico. Clouded amber with a small head. Has a full tropical fruit hopped aroma and taste with a lowish citrus bitterness and a dryish pale ale texture.

Didn’t rock me. Flasken var bb. 090315.

Shared 330 ml bottle, bought in Cardiff. Cloudy deep golden colour, large white head. Lemony aroma. Distinctly hoppy flavour, grapefruit and pine, American hops galore, plenty of alcohol. Good beer.

Bottle from Spirited Wines. Appearance - maybe I slightly shook the bottle or something but I didn’t expect the head to be this settles. Golden orange when it swrtles Nose - citrus and sherbet. Slight concern that some wild yeast is present. Taste - lime zest, then orange fruit. Still an edge of sherbet but no longer concerning. Palate - close to medium bodied with a big tangy zingy texture that kicks on to give a dry bitter and tangy finish. Overall - initially the level of sherbet in this made me think there was an infection. Perhaps a Belgian yeast was deliberately used and it delivered that tootie fruity sensation deliberately.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, citrus, floral hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a dry yeast, fruity, nettle hop, light spice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A slightly different take on an APA that works for me.

330ml bottle from Oddbins. Pours hazy gold, massive, over-flowing white head. Aromas of yeast, lemon, light tropicalia. Taste is more yeast, light bitter, bread. Something just not doing it for me with this one.

On tap at the Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol, 15/7/2014. Slightly hazy gold, with a decent, off-white, head. Juicy, tangerine and tropical fruits, grassy hops, some crisp malts and a dryish finish. Very good.

Bottle from Oddbins. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of sticky pine, orange and lime. Flavour of sticky resin, blood orange and a hint of ginger. Quite boozy. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Plenty of pine character on show here.

Bottled 330ml. Hazy amber color, decent off-white head, some lace. Exotic fruity hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity, some yeasty notes, caramalt. Finishing with fruity bitterness. Nicely balanced APA:
