GBBF. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is a little soft and dry. Decent fresh pale malt and citrus. Dry finish. Decent enough but the hop didn’t command attention.

Cask at the John Russell Fox (JDW), Andover. Cloudy amber with a tight cream head; aroma of Parma Violets, sweet and floral; the flavour is sweet and pick-a-mix candy too, with a short burst of bitterness with some hedgerow fruit before a return to the sweet shop. A strange concoction - not one I’d return to.

Cask@GBBF2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, some floral notes as well as some mild wooden notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice grassy finish. Pleasantly balanced.

Cask at the Union, Kingswinford. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma is faint, spicy and floral. Taste us spicy throughout, a bit bland and one sided.

Hand pulled pint in The Bell at Tong; Shropshire, on 31st Aug 2012. Amber and misty, off-white head that gave a bit of lacing on the pint sleeve it was poured into. The nose and taste were very floral (as the pumpclip and description from the brewery indicate): semi-bitter, with hints of citrusy fruits towards the end of each sip. An easy drinking lunch-time pint, one was enough though. Mid body strength and depth, can’t say I know the hop variety but it was fine on its own (in this brew anyway).

Cask at Joseph Glover, Lincoln UK - a golden pull with white head, lemony nose with a herby undertone. Bit of lemongrass in taste, a little spicy, but rather thin. Good refreshing brew.
