Time capsule beer with events on this day including Oasis playing their first gig in 16 years. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom split, and Russia becomes the first country to recognise the Taliban as the current rulers of Afghanistan. Deeper, slightly darker amber colour with a stated hoppy and fruity quintessential west coast styling.

Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester city centre. Dark gold and murky/hazy with an uneven ring of off-white head. Light aroma of caramel, spruce, some papaya and grapefruit. Bitter taste, oooh this is a nice Westy pale. Bitter but not too bitter, releasing those piney and citrussy flavours and heading out with an extra bitter kick. Medium body, heavy carbonation. Yes please.
