Bottle thanks to duchammer sharing: Poured a dark brown with tan bubbles. Nose has a smokey roasted coffee. Nice sweet malt coffee.

Thanks AFH for generously sharing this with me!!!!!! Pours black as night, really good dense creamy coffee colored head. thick lacing. ooooh yeah. Roasted espresso goodness with cream, chocolate and a nice roasted finish. There’s a lot of flavor and mouthfeel here considering the ABV. IT’s quite dense, lively with the carbonation. Lingering espresso bean. has a little woodiness present. I get a little bit of olive and a lot of licorice. I like it.

22 oz. bottle split by Willrunforbeer. What do I do with my bottle now?? Damn it... Light tan head with weak legs on a pitch black liquid. Aroma shows mild roast, weak caramel, and some type of yeast.
Flavor has a large amount of bitter chocolate in the finish with a mild hop in here as well. The body is really weak for an imperial stout. Very thin mouthfeel and the finish is is way to bitter. Lacking the roast and body I look for in the style.
