Burk import Denver. Klar ljus dryck.

Can. Pours slightly hazy golden, medium off-white head, dissipates fairly slowly, good lacing. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, slightly dank, more pine. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty middle of the fairway IIPA with an above average mouthfeel.

[1/29/17] Bottle/Can/Crowler/Growler at the RateBeer award ceremony bottle share at Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Golden. Resinous stale hops. Sweetish, bitter finish.

1 pt 3.2 oz can from Tavour. Nose is mango, papaya, and a hint of citrus. Lightly hazy yellow orange with a medium lightly lacing off white head. Flavor is moderately bitter with lots of fruitiness. Good stuff. I need to visit the brewery when I visit Denver.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with small white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and floral. Medium body, pineapple, dank, light resin finish, very nice.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours a clear golden with a lacing, white head. Very intense aroma hops, gets almost perfumy, but extremely typical US-style. Rich, sweet, malty body. The good hops prevail throughout, but the whole thing gets a little cloying towards the end, AND rather boozy. Still however a very nice DIPA. 010616

Can. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of citrus, alcohol soaked citrus peel and caramel malt. Medium body.

Sample at the Flatiron Park taproom. This beer pours a clear copper color with a medium ivory white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, pineapple and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a tropical fruit and hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pours a clear 24K gold, small but persistent head of foam.
The smell was of sugary sweet malt with a lightish aroma of hops.
The taste is strong with malty sweetness, lightly hopped despite the hefty IBUs, fairly strong alcohol presence.
Medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, that’s not what I’m not liking.
Too strong, too malt liquor like, too reminiscent of Dogfish Head 120, which I detested.
I’m glad I won’t have to buy another $6.99 can.

From notes
It is a golden color with a slight head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is a strong bitter flavor that resonates floral overtones.
