Can from Beerdome. Quite sweet and sugary with blueberry cake, syrup, light malt and roast. Sticky and sweet, moderate bitter. Like a continental breakfast in a cheap US motel. Too sweet, a bit artificial, okay.

Tall US can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 22. Thanks Mike for this! Pours pitch black with a moderate tan topping. Been avoiding desert stouts recently as they tend to be overly sweet and generally a bit sloppy with the flavour adjuncts, but this is exceptional. Brilliantly harmonious, bold flavoured with a well-integrated blueberry and chocolate character with soft marshmallow nods. An absolute delight.

Nice aroma of blueberry, marshmallow. Taste is smooth, creamy, blueberry adds a nice balance to offset the sweetness. Easy to drink. Nice.

Can from Suds & Soda, Derby. Dark. Glossy. Cola tint. Foamy beige head dissipates in seconds. Aroma is bossed by the sweet blueberry. Underlying cocoa is then evident. The marshmallow sugariness is there too. Sweet - the marshmallow alongside the blueberries are very sweet but check themselves. A waffle sweet doughiness is also present. Creamy chocolate with an etherealbitterness. Almost maple sweetness. Thick. Oily. Flat carbonation. Lonngggg finish. Hmmmm... enjoyable if teeth rotting.

16oz can pours an oily black with a ton of frothy beige head. Aroma perfumes out of the can with dried blueberry and maple syrup. Get closer and you get grains and vanilla and cocoa. Flavors are all the same, blueberry and maple and vanilla and grist. Finishes full bodied, sticky, sweet.
