500 ml from the brewery. #879/1100. Aroma is mostly sugar and vanilla. Flavor shows vanilla, weak cherry and a bittersweet chocolate in the finish. I don’t find peanut. Thankfully it tastes better than the aroma. Sweet for sure.

879/1100 bottled 11/20/23, drunk 12/9/23. Dark brown, tan head to ring quickly. Sugary but with some fruity acidity. Wouldn't guess peanuts though there's a touch of earthiness and salinity. Not boozey. Soft, sweet, but balanced with lots of acidity on the finish. Some adjunct sugar. Pretty good flavors, lots of lingering peppery acidity. No booze. Wouldn't want more than a few ounces, but it's fine enough.

Bottle pour as part of the member society. Opaque dark brown with nice viscosity. Aroma is rich roasted malt, vanilla, cacao, milder peanut and hint of cherry, as advertised. Taste is sweet malt, vanilla, cacao, milder cherry, only hint of peanut. Smooth, relatively thin, soft carbonation, faint alcohol warmth and finish as taste. A bit on the sweet side but good complexity. Balance could be better.
