Bottle pour with the membership group. Opaque black with nice viscosity. Aroma is strong roasted malt, toffee over Reese's Pieces. Taste is strong roasted malt over Reese's Pieces. Smooth, creamy texture with finish as taste. Not overly sweet and, if anything, Reese's is a bit muted. OK.

500 ml bottle. 2023 vintage 958/ 1200. Aroma is chocolate malt and soft sugar. Flavor is pretty much the same with hint of Reeses. Mild bitterness in the finish. Good texture. It is ok.

Bottled 8/1/23, #958/1200, drunk 6/1/24. Clear mahogany. Small, tan head to ring quickly. Smells like non-barreled Barreled Souls. Somewhat sugary, floury, vague chocolate and powdered sugar. Don't actually get Reese's in the nose. Sweet, for sure, good syrupy oomph up front with some acidity through the middle giving done balance. Not sure I'd guess Reese's which is a good thing. Lingering sugar, low roast, lots of caramel and dark chocolate. The almost year of aging has no doubt helped here.
8/1/23 958/1200 aroma is chocolate peanut butter. Taste follows with a lingering bitterness.

Lots of Reese's pieces for sure. Chocolate and candy coating--probably too much of the latter here. Black pour with a few soap bubbles. Pretty sweet and boozy on the finish. Not really complex, just candy. Tap at Rustico.
