Sunset bursts onto the palate with a crisp and refreshing start. It then smoothly transforms into an orange and lemon rind aftertaste to leave lovers of blonde ales feeling truly satisfied. Inspired by...the golden tones of the sunset over the Lake District peaks, as seen from Morecambe Bay.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 31st August 2018. Slightly hazy gold with shallow, loose white foam and lacing bands. Finely hoppy aroma - floral and citric. Deeply pungent, fruity and spicy in-mouth, with a finish of complex hops and spices. Engaging texture with plenty of body. A lot happening in this ale. Well crafted and superb.

On cask at Beer Cellar Exeter pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has honey, flowers, lemon. Flavor follows, some honey, light grist, light yeast, a little lemon. Finishes oily and a touch tannic.

Cask at the Victoria Inn, Rugby, 30/10/13. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is fruity, light vinegar strokes, malts. Taste comprises cereals, pale malts, light fruit, pinch of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Smelling this I thought it was perhaps off, however no sign of the vinegar in the taste. Mediocre GB affair.
