330ml bottle shared with blackhaddock at his gaff. Pours a deep unclear brown, good off-white topping. Malty fruitcake nose. Flavour profile presents lovely amber malt, nice toffee notes, nicely sweet with a soothing soft palate. Good stuff.

5th March 2024; mega tasting with minutemat (and Panda fill for Gumbo), my house. 330ml bottle: BB 2nd December 2024. Hazed mahogany body with an off-white head. Malty, nutty and with a toffee caramel leaning, half Bock, half English Brown Ale.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Meike, thank you very much!]. Opalescent, brown-ish, dark ruby colour with small to average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Rather weak, slightly nutty malty and fruity hoppy aroma, hints of toffee and butterscotch, a touch of red berries. Taste is minimally dry, caramel malty, minimally waxy, fruity hoppy, diluted hints of toffee, butterscotch, a very light touch of red berries, subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, lively carbonation. Nice toffee flavours, rather watery, slightly overcarbonated, a bit monotonous - so-so.
