16/5/2024. Bottle shared by the Shropshire boys, cheers. Canary Islands rating #5. Pours almost clear dark amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is toffee, dark fruits, bread, dried fruits, malt. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily with average carbonation.

330ml bottle shared with blackhaddock at his gaff. Pours a deep unclear brown, good off-white topping. Malty fruitcake nose. Flavour profile presents lovely amber malt, nice toffee notes, nicely sweet with a soothing soft palate. Good stuff.

5th March 2024; mega tasting with minutemat (and Panda fill for Gumbo), my house. 330ml bottle: BB 2nd December 2024. Hazed mahogany body with an off-white head. Malty, nutty and with a toffee caramel leaning, half Bock, half English Brown Ale.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Meike, thank you very much!]. Opalescent, brown-ish, dark ruby colour with small to average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Rather weak, slightly nutty malty and fruity hoppy aroma, hints of toffee and butterscotch, a touch of red berries. Taste is minimally dry, caramel malty, minimally waxy, fruity hoppy, diluted hints of toffee, butterscotch, a very light touch of red berries, subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, lively carbonation. Nice toffee flavours, rather watery, slightly overcarbonated, a bit monotonous - so-so.

Medium red brown colour with a small and frothy tan head. Aroma is caramellized malts, soft toffee and yeasty. Taste is soft fruity and caramel. Carbonation is soft.

Boottle from supermarket in teberife. Gusher. Grainy mineral waterish aroma. Nurty wheat bocky taste.

Light roast and some nut. Light clear brown colour. Ok head. Bottle from cool beer bar while walking around Las Palmas.
