Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours clear gold with a fluffy, white topping. Light sweet flavour with gorgeous citrusy hops, soft butter straw, pine needles, lemon peel, clean pale malt structure. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Perfectly balanced finish. Super.

A light haze on this gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little thin and a little dry as is the 2024 Kernel Pale Ale style. Decent fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish smooth malts, sweet enough but lacking body. Azacca and Enigma hops being light crisp pine and decent orange lemon. Modest Enigma cranberry on the back end. A fairly dry finish. Decent but old skool Kernel would have had a smoother palate and better hop intensity.
