Keg @ Pelican Bar, Manchester. Golden with a thin head. Heavy tasting pale to an extent its strength feels a tad spicy, although its texture doesn't quite suggest its alcohol volume. Hoppy brew.

Keg in the 'Cask' bar, central Manchester. An almost clear gold beer with a tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a good fine minerally crispness. Light smooth malt base, a light creamy sweetness. The hopping here, is a delight. Bright citrus with pineapple both of which get a little sherbetty. A good dose of candy fruits on the back end. Light cooling pine throughout and just a pinch of hop spice on the close. Lovely IPA and nothing like the normal West Coast drudgery. The 2 pints I had went down a treat.
