Cask at George, Croydon. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is rather spicy indeed, hay, earth, resin and biscuit. The taste is bitter, spicy, muffin, resin, wood, varnish and leather with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Spice dominates this thing. Not very drinkable....

Cask gravity at Leas Lift bf Folkestone. Hazy gold lasting white head. Spicy hoppy beer. It’s not horrible. The spice takes a bit of getting used to but I have had worse. Does get on your nerves a bit. Too much spice

Cask at Pigs Ear. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Smooth but dry palate. Semi crisp. Slightly odd taste. Resinous hops. Tart orange with what tastes like lemongrass and spices. Initially a bit jarring but improves as the palate gets over the shock. Dry finish, mildly bitter aftertaste.
